FATAL INJURIES

BURNING MOTOR CAR SEQUEL

AUCKLAND November 24,

The death has occurred in Auckland Hospital fof Mrs Egerton Burleigh Cecil, of Epsom, who was admitted on Sunday suffering from shock and extensive r burns received in a motor accident at Waiuku the previous evening, Mrs Cecil and her husband; were trapped in a small sedan motor car, which burst into flames after skidding and overturning .on loose metal on a rise just outside Waiuku. Both were severely burned before Mr Cecil succeeded in wrenching open the door of the car, and in releasing himself anti his wife. A pet dog in the back of the car was btirned to death. Mrs Cecil was in a serious condition when admitted to the hospital, but her hus.band was not so badly injured.
