DISCONTENTED STUDENTS
OFFICERS’ TRAINING CORPS

.• The Sunday Dispatch says that, Oxford undergraduates are seething with discontent owing to the banning of a •meeting of 'protest against the Officers’ Training Corps, which freshmen were without precedent for ma n y years circularised to join.
It i s believed .that the Government is resentful of Oxonian pacifist outbursts, and that the War Office, by telephone, has threatened to cut the training c°rps grant of £97,SOT yearly - ' unless feeling among the. students is moderated.
