In these day lS of rapid transit, probably Sir Benjamin Fuller, who arrived at Wellington to-day by the Rangitane, can claim to have established a new record in world travel. He was -in New York, on the night of October 30,'arid lie arrived at Wellington this afternoon.
Taking into consideration that a day was lost by him in crossing the 180th meridian, he made the passage between Manhattan Island and Wellington, in a little, over 22 days. Railway expresses and ajr services took him across the continent to Panama. Canal, where he connected with the Rangitane.
