MASTERTON RECOMMENDATIONS

MASTERTON, November 22.

■ The following recommendations weie agreed upon regarding changes of teachers at a meeting held in Masterton, and attended by the headmasters and the chairmen of the committees of four Masterton schools, by Mr-D. McCaskill (senior inspector to the Wellington Education Board), three other inspectors, and two district representatives oil the Board.

(1) Appointments to be made at the beginning of the year.

(2) All appointments to be for two years.

Recommendations were made that a special class for retardates be established in Masterton.
