Lee Tracey, the cinema star, who is making a film here “Viva Villa,” t° which much objection was raised by Mexicans, was ordered' to-day by the police authorities to remain here, pending further investigation into complaints that he “insulted-the Mexican Government and offended public servants.”

It is alleged that Tracey, clad only in. a blanket, appeared at his hotel balcony on. Sunday during a parade celebrating the Mexican revalutionary anniversary, and shouted insults while a crack corps of cadets from the Chapultepeo Military Academy passed. To make tnatters worse, it is alleged, the blanket slipped off. He was arrested twice, the ' American Consul securing his release on his own recognisance. TRACY NOW RELEASED. (Received this day at 2.15 p.m.) MEXICO CITY,! November 22. Tracy lias been freed through the intervention of the Ambassador.
