With some rivers already over their barik s and flooding low-lying area?;, •there is danger of floods in many inland towns, especially o'n the .Darling 'tributaries. Tim prospect of further rain accentuates the danger.
.At Walgett workers with drays are standing by ready throw up embankments to restrain the flood waters and protect the toivn. Mdree is also seriously menaced.
