NAVY PROMOTIONS
SOME NOTIFICATIONS. (Pec British Official Wii eless.) 'RUGBY,. November 20. The Admiralty has .announced the promotion of Vice-Admiral C. M. Forbes to 'be Vice-AJdmir.al commanding the First Battle Squadron, and to be Second-in-C'omma.nd in the Mediterranean, in succession to ViceAdmiral Sir Roger Backhouse. The ichange is to d&te from about April, 1934. Vice-Admiral R. G. H. Henderson will be Lord Commissioner of the Admiralty, and Controller in succession to Vice-Admiral F°rbes, this to date about April, 1934.
