The sole survivor of the crew of eleven of the German motor-ship, Krouzsee, from Bremenhaven to London, arrived at Rotterdam aboard the steamer Egeria. lie told how the Krcuzsce encountered a t storm oft Borkum and capsized in a few minutes. Six men struggled into a life-boat, while five perished in the raging sea. Four, of the occupants were swept away from tile waterlogged lifeboat at intervals.
The Egeria picked up the craft in the following 'dawn, and rescued the two survivors, one of whom shortly died from exposure. The other was sent to hospital.
