FEARS FOR CREW.

(Received this day at 12.56 p.m.) RUGBY, November 16. ■Anxiety .is felt regarding the fate of the crew of 27 members of the Saxilby who are. believed to have abandoned the ship and taken to the boats in the great (Atlantic storm, 300 miles off Valentia, Ireland. The last message received from .fhe fjaxilhy stated she was frying to, get .the .'boats away. Comrarinication |with the. vessel has 'toot since been established. ■ Captain Mitchell of the freighter, Manchester .Regiment, in a message yesterday when .92 .miles east of the (Saxilby said he had no .answer to repeated calls. According .to a‘ message from the*. Rerengaria whose search lights were | sweeping mountainous sea's, a fea,r was entertained that small boats oould not live long under .such conditions. Little hope remain 6 that any of the crew of the can have survived.
