Judgment for plaintiff by default was given in the cases Inter-Wanganui River Board-v J. H, A. Diedrichs, £5 19s sd, and costs £2. ,
False Pretences r Allan Roy Vickers, alias Charles Edward Bradman, alias Eric Jacksoii, alias Oakenful, was charged that oii November 11,. at Westport, he did obtain goods to ‘the value of £1 11s 6d and £2 in money from J. L. Lawson by false pretences, by riieans of a valueless cheque. Accused was described on the charge sheet as a schoolteacher of Australia, aged 38. 1 The police said accused was arrested at Ross last evening, but it was understood there were other charges at Westport pending. The. police applied for a remand to Greymouth to Monday, November' 20, which was granted. Cycling without a Light.
For riding a cycle without a light, Mons Morgan was fined 5s and costs. Maintenance Case.
Herbert Edward Beqtley was charged with disobedience of bis maintenance order. Defendant made application for - a valuation of his order by remission of arrears. The case was adjourned.
