Reginald Merriman, survivor of the tragedy in Kerr’s Road, is still in a serious condition at the hospital, but he lias regained consciousness and is now expected to recover.

, An inquest, on. the victims was open- ; ed this morning and adjourned after ! evidence of identification by John Holmes Ellis, an uncle .of Mrs Merriman.
