EVERYBODY’S PICTURES. “PROSPERITY.’ “Prosperity,” with Marie Dressier as ■ a mother-in-law battling? Avith another :mother-in-law in the person of Polly : Moran, is the laugh attraction this evening at the Princess Theatre- The story, written especially for the'- popular comedy team, i s laid in a small ;town and depicts the amusing events which .f ollow upon the marriage of Anita Page and Norman Poster, a union which brings about an intense rivalry between the respective mothers-in-law. I'lungs are bad enough when they live apart, hut when the depression necessitates, theii;' sharing one home together, fur flies and the fun get s fast and furious. The two mothers-in-law can never agree on anything, whether, it be who is to play Santa Claus, tiie cut of their grandchildren’s hair or the wisdom of putting their mone-y'Mnto A saving bank. It is the latter argument, which' eventually brings about a crisis between the rival mamas and a separation between their offspring.
