FORECAST AT NOON TO-DAY. The first of a series of westerly depressions crossed the South Island last night, and another i s now approaching across the Tasman Sea. The foreoast is for moderate to strong northwest to west winds. Weather changeable and squally, with rain at times, and some heavy falls in South Westland. Seas rough.
