DUNEDIN, November 14

A unique record in world commerce wag created to-day by Sir John Roberts, who, at the annual meeting of the Mosgiel Woollen Company, completed sixty years’ service as chairman of the Board of Directors.

To mark the .company’s diamond jubilee and the jubilee of-Sir John Roberts’ chairmanship, a bonus of 7s 6d* dut of reserves is this year being paid to the shareholders, in addition to the usual 10 per cent, dividend. Addressing the meeting, Sir John Roberts said lie estimated that the increased value of the finer classes of wools grown in the South Island would amount to 6d a pound, and in the North Island to 3d a pound;
