A mob of thirteen horses was run into on Sunday night by. the midnight express from Invercargill. *£en of the horses avere killed. . >.■■/'■ The horses, which belonged to Mr J. Christie, of Warepa, had strayed on to the 'line through' a , gate that had accidentally been .left open.- The animals killed were all young draughts of a erood type. Air Christie estimates his loss at £3OO.
