OBITUARY
The death of Mr Edmund F Heffernan occurred, last livening at Greymouth after a brief and sudden illness. For many years lie was accountant for the firm of E. McDonnell, Greymouth. He. was 48 years of age, a native of Greymouth, and leaves a wife and one son, James. He is also survived by six brothers, Rev Father T. M. Heffernan, S.M. (Wellington), William (Barrytown), John (Auckland), and Patrick, Robert and James (Greymouth) ; and three sisters, Mrs J. McGuire (Wellington), Johanna (Auckland), and Mary (Greymouth)
