FEDERAL MINISTRY SALARIES.
DISCUSSION IN HOUSE.

The House of Representatives today further adjourned the discussion on Mr Ward’s motion, dealing with the alleged misrepresentation of Members of Parliament by the Sydney '‘Sunday Sun,” following the socalled salary grab The Prime Minister told the House that three of the Directors of Associated Newspapers Ltd., had called on a certain Federal Minister, and had indicated that they, and the majority of the Board, were definitely opposed to, and deeply regretted, the use of the offensive language such as recently appeared in' certain of their publications. They gave the assurance that the whole matter would be dealt- with at the earliest meeting of the full Board.
