' Hockey—The members of the Kiwi Ladies’ Hockey Club met at the Aquatic Club' rooms to make -ia presentation to Mr, W. Kerr, and Mr A. Folley in appreciation of- their services to the Club during the season. Mr 0. P. Fair, who presided, made the presentation, on behalf of the ladies.

Manson Ward. —Id spite of the inclement weather last evening the entertainment to celebrate tho opening of the new Manson Ward passed off ; very successfully. Mr H. Bs Bock, president of the trustees presided*, .and-, with Mr T. W. Bruce spoke in appreciation of the excellent entertainment presented. The programme was as follows: Piano overture, Nurse McLaren j songs, Misses A. Malfroy, Hyams, L. Malfroy, Nurse McLaren, Mr J. Bush, Dr. Mc- . udrew; violin duet, the Masters Sar•ji on; violin and piano duet, Mr and Miss Ross.
