PROTECTION OF THE PUBLIC. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, October 31. The New Zealand Society of Accountants, in tile course of a statement on the Companies’ Act, points s out that, in view of the published comment indicating the misunderstanding that Section 140 relates only to the audit of accounts of companies registered under the Act, and is in no way Concerned with the practice of accountancy generally. The proposal is designed to protect the public.
