WIDE HOLD-UP THREATENED BY FEDERATION. (Australian Press Association). ('Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) CANBERRA, October 31. Direct action in the form of an Afus-traliilan-wide hold-up of wheat is threatened in the unanimous resolution carried by the conference of the Australian Wheatgrowers’ Federation. Representing forty thousand growers, the Federation demands immediate a ct ‘ |io(a by the Led era 1 Government to afford relief to growers. “The Commonwealth Government, 'by adopting the international wheat- agreement, got us into this mess, and now it must get us out of it,” said one delegate.
