Tho A<mm*'Ulji2aJ cormpmule'U of tho “Sunday Dispatch” considers that bis success would revolutionise flying across the world and place distance records out of reach of lone flyers. It would also put an end to, appalling crashes due to overburdened planes and lack of speed. Sir Alan Cobham declares that an entirely new system of re-fuelling in the air enables immediate contact with the pipeline and completion of the operation in 20 minutes. He will leave in from three to six months, hence it is not possible for him to compete in the Melbourne Centenary race.
