OBITUARY
The death took place early this morning of Mr Thomas Bowman of Alexander Terrace, Greymouth. H© was a native of Greymouth alld 47 years of age, and for years had been a waterSidOr. He leaves three brothers and three sisters, REV. ALEX MILLER (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, October 30. Rev Alexander Miller,.M.A., formerly Minister of the Presbyterian Church at Wesport, at the age of 72, passed aw : ay suddenly yesterday at Chatsw'cod a Sydney suburb. Deceased only recently visited Westport, and was cordially welcomed by the community. He was an active figure, in several public organisations for many years at Westport, notably the Progress League. Formerly Rev. Mr Miller was a capable vocalist, and could render Scottish songs with great effect.
