FORD BOYCOTT
PROJECTED BY U-.S. PRESIDENT. FOR OPPOSITION TO CODE. (United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright) WASHINGTON, October 28. .President 'Roosevelt definitely projected .a boycott against Mr Henry Ford to-day, when he let it be known that, barring a contrary legal decision by the Attorney-General, Mr Ford i s now ineligible to receive any' Government contracts. Mr Ickes, secretary of the Department of the Interior, which is perhaps the largest Government purchaser of equipment, has definitely .announced ■that no more of Mr Ford’s products are to be purchased, and General Johnson. has agai. n made a threat of legal action against Mr Ford, saying that any “clear cut violation” of the code by Mr Ford would be communicated to the Department of Jus-ice as a personal gesture against Mr Ford.
