B. COLUMBIA TO SEND TEAM TO N.Z. (Per Press Association Copyright .) AUCKLAND, October 30. Passengers by the Aorangi, which arrived from Vancouver yesterday, included Mr A. Rowlands, formerly of Auckland, who arrived on business connected with the inauguration of the Blue Star lines service. ’ Mr J. Newman, of Nelson, another passenger, said that rugby was very popular in British Columbia and the Union there was anxious to send a team to New Zealand at an early date. He mentions that Roger Blunt, the ex-New Zealand cricketer, was on totir in .the United States' with an English team. N.Z. TOUR OF ENGLAND 1935-3 G. AND AUSTRALIA IN 1934. " WELLINGTON, October 30. A special meeting of the management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union agreed to the New Zealand team touring Britain in the 193536 season as requested by the English Union. It also decided that the New Zealand team will make a short tour of Australia during the latter part of the 1934 season.
