AWARDS FOR GALLANTRY. (United Treat Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received this day at. 12.10 p.m.) CALCUTTA, October 29. British' police officers,' P. Jones and C. Smith, were awarded the King’s Pol ice Medal for conspicuous gallantry on the occasion of the terrorists outrage at Mednapore on September 2, when Magistrate Burge was murdered.
