AGAINST AMERICAN FILM COY. “RASPUTIN AND EMPRESS” FILM (United Press Association —By Electric’ Telegraph—Copyright). NEW YORK, October 27. Princess Frian Yousoupouff, the wife of Prince Felix Yousoupouff, who, in legal papers, is said to be the cous.n of King George V, the ex-Ivaiser and of the late Czar, has filed a two million dollar libel suit against the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Film Corporation, the producer of the picture “Rasputin and the. Empress.” . The Princess alleges that one character in this motion picture, that of Princess Natash, who in the film introduces the. monk into the Czar’s household, and then becomes his mistress, is so thinly veiled' that people' throughout the world have recognised the character as herself. Site further charges that the foreword of the film declares: “Few of the characters are still alive. The rest have met their deaths by violence,” and that she and her husband are the only ones involved in the action who are now living.
