RELIEF STRIKE

AT CAMP IN NORTH ISLAND. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) WELLINGTON, October 26. For' about- a week, the single men in the relief camp at Pnraparaumu, have been idle. It is stated that the quantity of tea for morning and afternoon tea gradually increased, until there was more per man than at any other camp and the trouble is alleged to have commenced when the supply was reduced. The matter is being investigated to-day by the Public Works Department. Meanwhile the men are being fed but not paid.
