A coloured man was seen at night tube recently on the roof of the house that is occupied by ‘Viscount Ratendone, who is the heir of the Viceroy of India (Lord Willingdon). The. house is in Victoria Square, London. A knife; was found on a window ledge. The police say that there is no suggestion’ of a plot against Viscount Ratendone. An r Australian, Miss Dorota Flatau, who resides in the flat next door, declares that she heard a noise outside. She then turned on the light, and she saw a dark figure, who exclaimed: “Quiet or I shoot!” Miss Flatau, who was astounded, hurled a heavy flowerpot at the man and it struck him on the chest. The man threw a brick at her and he then escaped over the roof 1 into the garden. Viscount Ratendone was dining out that night. When he returned, he discovered the police searching his premises. He is leaving for India on October 30. .
