MIGRATION PLAN
PEOPLE FOR AUSTRALIA. LONDON ORGANISATION. LONDON, October 19. Without kny fuss, iand ’undeterred by the case of the Victorian migrant settle’s, a London organisation with Empire ramifications is stated to be [attempting to develop ,a practical scheme of migration to Australia. Through its 'influential executive it is maintaining a close liaison with the Dominions Office, and' it is hopeful of being in ,a position to open negotiations with the Governments concerned in the near future. The movement possibly will he based upon a plan by which migrants will be settled in the Commonwealth and ’Britain will undertake to provide a market for their produce or other Output. Until the executive is confident that its ideas .can be realised and it confidentially secures the blessing of the ’Dominions Office, nothing i s likely to be made public.
