IN CANADIAN BY-ELECTI'ONS. iUn>*.ed Press Association—By Electn* Telegraph—Copyright) OTTAWA, October 24. The Canadian Liberal party won three by-elections on Monday, namely those for Restigouche. Madawaska, jin New Brunswick, a former Conservative seat, in Yamaska, Quebec, where a Liberal member had been unseated through ,a Court action, and in Mackenzie, (Saskatchewan, a former Progressive seat in which the new political body, the Co-operative Commonwealth Federation, made its first bid for Federal Parliamentary honours.
