The “Manchester Guardian” says an anti-British book, of which the meagrest details arc available in England, is widely advertised in Japan and has run to 45 editions. It alleges that .Br.tain is planning Japan’s ruin owing to the latter’s inroads on her China and Indian trade. The peace-loving Japanese resent British arrogance and insolence.. Chapters are devoted to the Singapore base in the Pacific, the death-knell of the British Navy, and Britain’s vulnerable points, and it is states there is no need to dread Britain.
