Yesterday in • the typhoon, tho O.S.K. steamer “Yashim-a Marti,” of 046 tons, sank when .nearing Kobe. It is .reported that fttfy-nine pasjsengers are missing, including two British women, the wives of officers on the warship “Eagle,” Mrs Mil-
ner-Barry and Mil's B. 3. Prevost. Out of a total of 124 passengers, sixty were rescued. , The ■ damage caused by the typhoon along the coast is enormous. Over one thousand fishermen are missing.
