The King, at Sandringham, was informed of the success of Ulm, whose English friends are delighted at hip achievement, as demonstrating the ■practicability of Anglo- Australian flights within a week. The flight vindicates Ulm’s skill, and his daring in increasing the wing length, by five feet, thus adding lifting power and giving additional range of four hundred miles without the slightest impairing .'of ’• efficiency has ' amazed even the builders- *.'•■•• •»’

NORTH ATLANTIC SERVICE
POSSIBILITY DURING SUMMER,

Colonel' Lindbergh, interviewed by the ‘Daily , Telegraph” said he considered it would be quite possible to start a summer service oil the North Atlantic • air route between America and Europe, now, but not- on a~ commercial basis.' The difficulties of a winter Service would be great, blit could perhaps be overcome.
