CARDIFF WORKS TO RE-OPEN.

LONDON, October 19.
The British Iron and Steel Company lias decided, owing to the effect of tariffs, to . re-open its Cardiff Works, spending two million sterling on reconditioning, enabling an annual output of 300,000 tons of billets and steel bars, employing 1500 men.
