At one o’clock to-day the Yashima tMani, an old torpedo vessel, which had been converted into a passenger liner running between Bepnu Spa and Osaka, suddenly broke up and sank within six miles of Kobe. There were 154 passengers on board. Several steamers are searching, but the weather is violent. A few luve been picked up 3o far.
