CHRISTCHURCH, October 18.

The Wellington centre which controls Palmerston North to Wellington cycling race, is being urged by officials attached to the New Zealand League ; 0 f Wheelmen, and Papanui Cycling Club, to ignore the ruling of New Zealand Cycling Council. that several Christchurch riders including Frank Grose, are ineligible to complete in the event.

Grose and R. Marks left for the north yesterday evening. The other member of the local team awaits developments.
