" CHRISTCHURCH, October 13. The second tower- of the new trans-

mitting station for 3YA at Gobbles Pass wa s completed this morning, and before the end of next month the ne\v plaint will lie put into operation. This will make 3YA the most efficient radio station in the Dominion, and enable its programmes to be heard witiH great clarity in places where it cannot at present he picked up.
