Intelligent British opinion regards the Siamese rebels’ chances favourably. They say that the success of the rebels would be welcomed by the population, who are inclined to blame the present Government for the country’s declining trade during the past year. •
Rebel planes have been flying over Bangkok. Those in the planes state that, the rebels could take the city in.two days, but they pre withholding action because their .friends are within the capital. - There is no railway communication from Malaya., beyond two • hundred kilometres beyond the Malayan frontier.
