BULLER SEAT
WHO WILL BE NEW MEMBER?
(Per Press Association—Copyright),
WELLINGTON, Oct. 12.
The Hon. Mark 1 Eagan,'M.L.O., is visiting Westport on business in connection with the Duller electorate.
There is a deal, of gossip about the choice of Labour’s nominee, for the Buller seat, but this is all. guesswork. Among names mentioned have„ been those of Mr Roy Holland, Mr P. C. Webb, Mrs Forman, Mr Hayward (Dennistop), Mrs 'J. Smeat-op, and Mr A. McLagan. It is obvious from so many being mentioned that the gossip is lacking foundation. The Buller L.R.G. and the Labour party have to consider the matter. The L.R.C. no doubt- will meet this' week."
