It will 1 be for three-year-olds and up, over six furlongs, with the weight of ten. pounds, below scale, for a purse of .2500 dollars with a 250 dollars subscription by each entrant added. Character, who is a possible starter, ran first in a race to-day over six furlongs in 1.11 2-5, or only 1-5 seconds slower than the track record. The Navlor-Whitney negotiations for a match race between Equipoise and Winooka have apparently reached an impasse.
