a/_. the wool sales, 8,109 bales were offered, including 1,876 from New Zealand. About 4,314 bales were sold. There was active competition at full Lite (rates. Merinos, greasy N.S.W. 19d ; Queensland 1 61 d, Victorian 20-1 d, West Australian 16id, scoured Queensland 25d, New Zealand Oxford Top 23d, average 22£d; New Zealand slipe half-bred lambs, Parora I6ld, ditto ■crossbred 13d to lOjd. Bradford : Steady, with better inquiry for fine tops.
