MEAT QUOTAS
ON AUSTRALIAN SCHEME. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, September 29. Commenting on the new AngloArgentine Trade Agreement, an Australian meat authority says: “There will he an artificial scarcity of meat. It will mean that ,an English market, created by the British quota restrictions, will have been increased in the past three months considerably and will have raised the market value of Australian lamb. Consequently it behoves every Australian producer of mutton, lamb, and chilled beef, to take advantage of their market. There are now possibilities of making forward sales, which lias hitherto been impossible, owing to the congestion of the local markets.
