SERIOUS CHARGE
•ATTEMPTING TO MURDER. (Per Press Association — Copyright.) AUCKLAND, Sen. 28. Helge Vigo Sorensen, aged 46, a seaman, was charged at the police court with attempting to murder Louisa Annie Thompson, and with assaulting Roy '.Tolinston so as to cause, actual bodily harm, both, at Onehmiga, on the morning of Saturday, September 2nd. Evidence was given that following a party to which Sorenson, a stranger, was invited, and at which a large quantity of liquor was consumed, the man and woman were .stabbed, apparently with a knife.
