MINE AFIRE
IDLE FOR YE-VRS-(Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 11 a.m.) SYDNEY. September 27. The great Cobar copper mine at Cobar which .has been idle for some years, is on fire. It is believed that somebody set fire to the ore -bins. The poppet •head was also set alight. It- ivas I’mrned to the ground, and the flames descended the shaft.
