OBITUARY
The death took place at the Duller Hospital cn Sunday morning of Mrs Scully, wife of Mr M. B. Scully, solicitor. She had been in the institution only a week and death followed an operation. Deceased was a native of Kirkcaldie, Scotland, and 29 years cf age. She had been in Kew .Zealand since a girl of nine years, her home being 'in Invercargill. She was married during the present year. (United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). TORONTO, September 25. The death took place on Sunday, at the age of 74, of Mr Justice W. E. Raney, of the Supreme Court, of Ontario, and a former Attorney-General of Ontario. SYDNEY, September 25. The death is recorded of the Very Rev Doctor Maurice O’Reilly, the Rector of St. John’s Roman Catholic College, within the ‘University of Sydney. Deceased, who was 66 years of age, was well-known at a publicist as well as an educationalist. LONDON. September 26. The death is recorded of the novelist, Alice Muriel Williamson. She was found unconscious in a hotel at Bath. Attempts to revive her failed. She left ,a note for the coroner.
