A MISHAP

TO WANGANELLA, Australian Press Association). (Received this day at 11.35 a.m.) SYDNEY, September 24. The Wanganella’s departure for Wellington is further postponed till midday on Tuesday. It transpires the ship when going across the harbour to fuel from on© of the big oil tanks, was attended by two tugs as she was not under steam. A heavy squall struck the Wangauella and the rudder touched ground. When docked the damage was found to he much more than had been suspected. She will probably not be undocked tomorrow night.
