OBITUARY

The death occurred yesterday morning at Blenheim, or Mrs Jane Evans O’Dwyer, at the age of 86 years. She was the daughter of Mr T. J. Thompson, one of the survivors concerned in the'events which led up to the Wairau Massacre, in June of 1843.

The death took place at the Greyllospital yesterday morning, of Mrs Margaret Frolli, of Abaura, after a short illness, A native of County Limerick, Ireland, the deceased is survived by one married daughter, residing at Christchurch. She was formerly the proprietress of the Orwell Creek Hotel.

The death of Mrs Mona Rachael Neilscn, formerly of Ahauna and Blackball took place on Saturday evening at the Buffer Hospital at the early age of 35 years. She Was the only daughter of the late Mr Robert Ross .Gilmer, of Aliaura, and leaves four young children. She is also survived by two brothers, Mr Thomas Gilmer, of Blackball, and Mr Ross Gilmer,, of the Post and Telegraph Department, Auckland,
