INCREASE SHQWN. (Per Press Association — Copyright .) . WEELINGTQN, Sep. 22. An increase in both the quantity and. value of gold exported' from New Zealand during the ‘first ’ eight' months of the year as compared with .the. corresponding period last year, is announced bv the Alinister of Alines. This year there were 105,676 ozs qs . compared' with 101,279 ozs of a value of £749,224 as compared with £542,013. The number of prospectors who sold gold during August was 1359, agairst 836 in August of lqst year.
