Fakirs, suspected of kidnapping children at Lucknow, were chased for a mile till exhausted, when an angry mob attacked, stoned, and left them for death on the roads.de. One crawled to the railway station and attempted to hoard a train. He was rescued and taken to hospital where he died. The others succumbed en route to the hospital.
