DAIRY CONFERENCE
FIRST OF ITS KIND. (Per Press Association, Copyright). WELLINGTON, Sep. 19. A two day dairy conference, the first of its kind to be held in th e Dominion, commences here to-morrow. It is arranged by the Dairy Board. Forty-five delegates will represent the Board’s nine wards. All- lorns (chairman) will preside, and the proceedings will "be private. COMiNG VISITOR. ’ WELLINGTON, Sep. 19. Air Baxter, representing the National Farmers! ’ Union of Great Britain, arrives on Thursday, and "’ill lie welcomed bv farming organisations. He is to lie taken round the dairying districts of New Zealand /and will later .dismiss dairy ' problems with particular reference to quotas, at a subsequent conference.
